Scanning and Archiving - Montclair Photo

Film Scanning
Montclair Photo recently upgraded to the newest Noritsu film scanner. We can scan 35mm strip film, mounted slides, Advantix (APS) and professional 120/220 format film. Odd size or single cut negatives are no problem. Our standard negative scanning for 35mm is 2000 x 3000px which is about a 5mb file. Our max scanning resolution for 35mm is 4492x6744px which make a 25mb JPG file. Tiff format can be requested.

Print Scanning
Montclair Photo can scan photos up to 11x17 on our flat bed scanner. We do not batch scan. Each print is individually scanned and adjusted. Our standard scanning resolution is 600 dpi. Higher resolution scans are available.

Archiving Services
Montclair Photo can help your archive all your documents, film, slides, photos, albums, tapes, discs, movie reels, art work, and audio cassettes. We can scan or convert anything.

Document Scanning
Montclair Photo can scan your documents into a PDF format. We can also convert many types of files into a pdf.

Oversize Scanning
Montclair Photo can digitize large format prints and film. Any print or art work larger than 11x17 is considered over-size.

Electronic Transfer
Montclair Photo can output your digital scans (JPG, Tiff, or PDF) to CD, USB Flash Drives, email, online transfer, or put it on any media you bring in.

Photo Restoration
Montclair Photo can restores old faded, cracked, and torn photos in-house. See more info here.

Video Transfers
Most common these days to transfer your files to MP4. We can still make you a DVD. We also do audio cassette tapes to MP3 files or CD. See more info here.
